📋 Description

• Gather platform requirements and product features from business, security, and technology stakeholders • Determine work requirements, priorities, and resource allocation for development projects and unplanned incidents • Plan and prioritize multiple projects and application architecture, including system partitioning and framework design • Create and review project estimates covering resources, timelines, and budgets • Review technical decisions against design goals • Develop solutions meeting CDW coding standards and quality expectations • Lead and mentor multiple teams of mid- to senior-level engineers through coaching, feedback, and performance conversations • Guide the team's technological direction • Partner with peers, product leaders, business leaders, and key stakeholders • Lead strategic technology planning and determine the group's future technical strategy • Contribute to business plans, staffing, budgeting, and process decisions • Prioritize platform upgrades and initiatives addressing technical debt • Own non-functional requirements, technology standards, architectural direction, technical documentation, and code quality • Maintain high security standards and promote security awareness • Assess and monitor the impact of new technologies on markets and product lines

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7 years in software development and 1 year of experience managing technology organizations, with proven team building and leadership skills, OR 11 years of software development experience and 1 year of experience managing technology organizations • Ability to interface confidently and clearly with senior leaders internally and externally • Ability to convert strategic plans into actionable programs and projects • Ability to attract and retain talent • Ability to create and promote a culture of technology excellence and innovation • Experience with .NET, API design, Cloud Architecture, data storage, big data technology, and streaming data processing • Experience with agile principles including test-driven development, continuous integration, and test automation • Ability to solve problems creatively • Ability to communicate technical possibilities and limitations to non-technical colleagues • Ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs while meeting deadlines
