📋 Description

• Deliver Tier 1 technical support for deployment services projects for US Federal Government customers • Provide remote and onsite technical support • Troubleshoot complex network issues and mentor field technicians • Execute advanced network upgrades, including channel additions, node insertions, traffic migrations, and hardware/software updates without impacting end-user services • Draft and implement network test plans and non-intrusive Methods of Procedure (MOPs) • Perform network audits, architecture design, and modernization planning through the EMOP process • Serve as a key technical interface to customers and ensure proactive communication and timely resolution of technical challenges • Collaborate with internal teams to improve field deployment processes through Right First Time initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience • 8–12 years of experience in telecom installation, provisioning, testing, live network migration, and consulting • Advanced knowledge of Ciena products, with essential expertise in Ciena 6500 • US citizenship • Valid US driver’s license • Ability to work during off-hours maintenance windows • Ability to travel domestically 50–75% and internationally as needed • DoD SECRET Clearance preferred • Exceptional problem-solving skills • Ability to translate complex technical issues into actionable solutions • Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills • Self-motivated and collaborative • Ability to thrive in high-stress environments
