📋 Description

• Keep data models and the logical and physical data structures up to date, ensuring they remain consistent with business rules. • Ensure the quality of metadata, considering its usefulness for the company’s various departments. • Participate in the evaluation of automation solutions whenever they affect the production and use of information, monitor model implementations, and verify the quality of database contents to ensure their alignment with business objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• Define the conceptual, logical and physical modeling of the information required to meet business needs. • Design, propose, maintain and update data models; • Ensure data normalization and eliminate or minimize redundant data; • Ensure data consistency at the model level for implementation in the database; • Experience in relational and multidimensional modeling; • Define data access security procedures; • Redefine data models based on specific physical implementation characteristics to improve database performance; • Knowledge of table partitioning techniques; • Identify data distribution requirements and work with DBAs on physical implementation; • Work on architecture modeling and deployment of BI & Big Data systems; • Model KPIs and dashboards to support executive decision-making; • Design and develop the architecture for data services across the technology and platform ecosystem (Relational, Analytical, NoSQL) to support data consumption by BI applications; • Promote and develop BI best practices, result- and delivery-oriented, providing consulting, support, and mentorship to business areas with recommendations for continuous improvement and support of the established organizational model; • Participate in the development and updating of data management and governance methodologies; • Support the specification of integration mechanisms such as services, ETL specifications, database links and other DBMS-based integration mechanisms; • Develop SQL scripts for information validation, report specifications, etc.; • Manage structured, semi-structured and unstructured data; • Experience with DDL, DML and DCL for Relational, Analytical and NoSQL databases; • Knowledge and experience handling diverse data sources (VSAM, CSV, TXT, relational and NoSQL databases); • Experience with VLDBs (Very Large Databases); • Experience in environment integration activities; • Experience in performance analysis activities; • Experience with data modeling tools, propagation, DBMS administration, monitoring and performance across multiple databases.
