📋 Description

• Author and own detailed technical specifications for product initiatives, including system context, data flows, API contracts, acceptance criteria, and edge case definitions • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on customer research, market analysis, and business objectives • Write prototypes, proof-of-concept scripts, and lightweight automation to validate assumptions and accelerate decision-making • Participate in building by understanding existing code and deploying changes • Partner with engineering as an embedded team member through design reviews, sprint planning, technical discussions, and pull request reviews • Define product metrics and design experiments such as A/B tests and cohort analysis • Extract and analyze data independently to drive prioritization • Translate technical complexity into clear narratives for business stakeholders and business context into actionable direction for engineers • Break large initiatives into shippable increments defined in specifications • Ensure consistent delivery cadence and early detection of scope or quality risks • Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, and stakeholder interviews to inform product direction and identify high-leverage opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to read, understand, and write code • Experience in large scale enterprise projects • Strong track record of delivery and execution • Spec-driven product strategy and roadmap experience • Stakeholder communication and alignment experience • Data analysis and insight generation experience • Outcome ownership and value realization • Technical fluency and systems thinking • Customer and market insight • Cross-functional engineering partnership • Relevant professional experience accepted in lieu of a BS • 5+ years of experience in product management with demonstrated technical depth • Experience authoring technical specifications, working in codebases, or contributing to engineering workflows • Preferred: experience with spec-driven or design-doc-driven development processes • Code competency, including ability to read, understand, and review code • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and pull request workflows • Experience with SaaS products, APIs, microservices, or platform products • Background in data analysis, A/B testing, and experimentation frameworks • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and delivery management tools
