Circular Materials is a national not-for-profit producer responsibility organization in Canada that builds and manages recycling systems under extended producer responsibility (EPR). It partners with producers, regulators and service providers to design and implement recycling programs, run supply chain procurement and contracts, provide regulatory reporting and analytics, support producer onboarding and fee-setting, operate IT platforms and financial services, and deliver promotion and education to advance the circular economy and increase material recovery across provinces.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios for the data integration platform across QA and Production environments • Perform integration testing across source systems such as SAP and CRM • Verify data flows correctly between source systems and the consolidated platform • Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and data-quality checks • Reproduce, isolate, and resolve data discrepancies with development teams • Review technical specifications and data-mapping documents • Produce testing reports, data logs, defect tracking, and related documentation • Communicate test progress, results, and issues to the QA Lead and project stakeholders • Analyze test results, document defects, and verify fixes • Report to the Manager, IT Quality Assurance and work closely with the QA Lead

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required • 2–5 years of experience in software quality assurance • Proven track record executing various types of testing, identifying defects, and ensuring quality • Experience with integration testing and/or testing data across enterprise systems such as SAP and CRM is required • Hands-on experience with data validation and reconciliation • Exposure to cloud data platforms, including AWS, is an asset • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, test management, and data validation tools • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to communicate ideas in technical and user-friendly language • Keen attention to detail and ability to quickly learn new products • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
