📋 Description

• Follow up with inbound leads and provide status updates through the company CRM system • Conduct outbound prospecting and lead generation • Qualify leads and schedule product demos • Build and foster client relationships through personalized contact • Understand client needs and communicate the value of products and services • Accurately forecast opportunities based on realistic assessments • Meet or exceed assigned revenue goals • Partner with field sales representatives across various geographies and territories • Support attendance at field marketing events, including Splunk Lives, the National Users Conference, and regional trade shows

🎯 Requirements

• 1–2 years of sales experience • Experience selling enterprise IT solutions such as BI, data analytics, security software, risk management software, or networking performance • Previous experience at a fast-growing software sales company • Proven track record of exceeding yearly quota • Experience in consultative sales environments and customer-first selling • Experience developing and nurturing new business and managing the sales cycle from lead generation through closing • Strong interpersonal skills • Logical and analytical thinking • Demonstrated negotiation skills • Strong technical aptitude and computer skills • Experience with CRM systems, Word, Excel, and Salesforce • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines • Ability to work independently and contribute to a team • Excellent communication skills • Desire to grow within the sales field organization
