📋 Description

• Own the technical sales process from introductory net-new-sales meetings through post-sales customer satisfaction, upselling, and subscription renewals • Support customers' technical needs and discover new use cases for Cloudera technology • Design customer solutions using Cloudera technologies, reference architectures, and common patterns • Demonstrate Cloudera products to inspire customer adoption • Partner with Account Managers to communicate solution value and drive successful sales • Present product roadmap and vision • Interface with Cloudera teams to provide customers with a unified experience • Advocate for customer needs to Product Management and Engineering • Participate in external publicity and evangelism, including conferences, meetups, webinars, and blogs • Align achievements with team goals, annual sales targets, and knowledge exchange with peers and the wider community

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience • Minimum of 8 years of professional work experience in a pre-sales customer-facing role • Experience acting as a co-seller selling solutions to business leaders and technical champions in the enterprise • Ability to create and give technical presentations and demonstrations • Experience with Big Data, Data Warehousing, or Relational Databases • Experience with one or more major cloud service providers: AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience with Data Engineering, Data Science, or Machine Learning • Experience with Operations, Security, and Data Governance within the enterprise • Experience with Unix or Linux • Experience gathering and understanding customer business requirements • Excellent written and verbal communication • Problem-solving skills • Willingness to learn, curiosity to discover, and drive to make customers successful
