📋 Description

• Develop and deliver quotations, technical information, and proposal drawings for standard and complex customer applications • Evaluate customer requirements and assist Channel Partners and End Users in selecting appropriate products and solutions • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers via phone and email • Provide advanced technical support and engineering product expertise • Log quotations, manage priorities, and maintain timely follow-up on opportunities • Manage large, complex, or specialized opportunities across planning, sales, engineering, production, customer service, and end users • Follow up on completed quotations to support sales efforts, improve quote conversion, and drive revenue growth • Determine pricing for specialized products according to corporate guidelines • Support customer service by resolving technical product and application inquiries • Conceptualize, develop, and price custom projects and proposals for intelligent motion solutions • Modify drawings or coordinate with engineering to create and revise drawings • Gather and evaluate technical requirements, application parameters, and design preferences • Provide application guidance and technical consultation by phone and email, including pre-sale and occasional aftermarket support • Develop detailed scopes of work and technical requirements for engineering after proposal approval • Maintain accurate records and archive completed proposals and documentation • Evaluate and prioritize quote requests based on requirements, complexity, business impact, and delivery timelines • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field or 5+ years of equivalent technical experience required • 5+ years of experience supporting technical products, application engineering, quotations, proposals, or related functions • Experience interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications required • Experience creating technical quotations and proposals required • Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks preferred • Experience supporting customized, engineered-to-order, or complex customer applications preferred • Advanced ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, application engineering principles, and manufacturing processes involving metal fabrication and machining • Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD software • Ability to analyze complex customer requirements and recommend effective technical solutions • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to work independently on complex assignments • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to a variety of audiences
