📋 Description

• Maintain and update geological databases for the project • Tech drill core • Cut drill core • Conduct soil, silt and biogeochemical sampling • Assist with geophysical surveys • Assist the Geology team with accurate and timely data collection in all tasks completed • Assist in implementing corporate safety and operating policies • Aid in developing new corporate and operating policies when instances present themselves • Help with miscellaneous jobs as required during exploration

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience as an Exploration Technician or similar role in the exploration industry is considered an asset, but not required • A passion to learn new skills • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills • Self-motivated • Positive and adaptable attitude to an ever-changing high demand work environment • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite is considered an asset • Ability to lift and move core boxes/sample bags weighing up to 50 lbs • Legally entitled to work in Canada • Valid driver’s licence • Availability to work rotations up to 28 days in length and live in a camp environment at remote project sites • Currently enrolled at a post secondary institution or an early career mineral exploration enthusiast looking to gain field experience
