đź“‹ Description

• Champion divisional and department safety • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with mining safety policies and the Health, Safety and Reclamation Code for Miners in British Columbia • Lead by example and establish a safety culture • Ensure employees are indoctrinated to the corporate safety culture • Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures • Develop, implement, and support operational work processes aligned with business objectives and the underground mine Life of Mine strategy • Coordinate operational execution with milling processes and conduct work audits • Develop the operational budget and monitor variances • Develop and implement the Mine Operations continuous-improvement strategy • Work with Geology, Engineering, Milling, and Maintenance counterparts to support operational standards • Develop organizational assignments and succession plans • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly Mine Operations reports • Prepare scopes of work and monitor execution • Supervise special projects • Track KPIs and prepare monthly reports and optimization studies • Manage rock waste to meet the MLARD program • Prepare AFEs • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• P.Eng. in Mining, Geology, or a related field, registered in British Columbia • Minimum 15 years of mining engineering experience • Minimum 10 years in progressive supervisory or technical roles • Proven safe work record • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience • Valid driver's license • Physically fit to perform the duties • Willingness to work a two-week rotation schedule with 12-hour shifts per day at a remote camp
