📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs that power Coinbase products for Canadian users. • Own the development of server-side features that directly drive revenue and enhance user experiences. • Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to build scalable, end-to-end solutions. • Optimize system performance, reliability, and security in compliance with Canadian regulatory requirements. • Solve complex, large-scale technical challenges related to distributed systems, databases, and microservices architecture. • Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code that meets the needs of users and internal stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience developing backend systems and APIs using languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js. • Strong understanding of server-side architecture best practices, including performance optimization, security, scalability, and maintainability. • Experience integrating with databases, caching layers, and other storage solutions. • Proven ability to design and implement complex business logic in a reliable and efficient manner. • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, microservices, and containerized environments (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes, Docker). • Experience collaborating across product and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. • Commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code that serves real customer needs.
