📋 Description

• Administer defined benefit pension plans in accordance with plan documents and applicable regulations. • Review and process retirement calculations, benefit commencements, distributions, and participant transactions. • Research and resolve complex participant inquiries and escalated issues. • Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and other regulatory requirements. • Perform quality reviews and audits to maintain data integrity and accuracy. • Analyze pension calculations and validate system outputs. • Support annual administration activities, including valuation, testing, and regulatory reporting. • Collaborate with clients, actuaries, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure service delivery standards are met. • Identify process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Assist with special projects, system implementations, and client initiatives. • Mentor and provide guidance to team members on defined benefit processes and procedures. • Maintain detailed documentation and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • 5+ years of benefits administration experience with a strong emphasis on defined benefit pension plans. • Knowledge of ERISA, IRS regulations, and pension administration practices. • Experience performing pension calculations and interpreting plan documents. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Experience with pension administration systems and related technologies preferred.
