📋 Description

• Help streamline clients’ operational and accounting processes using accounting and financial technology platforms • Convert clients from traditional accounting systems to cloud accounting solutions • Integrate receipt management applications, e-commerce platforms, and inventory management systems with cloud accounting platforms • Train internal and external stakeholders on accounting system design and workflows • Research, test, and combine cloud accounting solutions to meet clients’ unique needs • Build internal and external processes and documentation for cloud accounting • Provide ongoing support to clients and the team regarding accounting systems, integrations, and issues during onboarding • Spend most of the role providing client and team training

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent understanding of accrual bookkeeping, payroll, debits and credits, clearing accounts, and bank reconciliations • Excellent understanding of accounting system processes, including invoicing, payables, bookkeeping, and tax rates • At least 5 years of prior bookkeeping experience in a fast-paced environment • Working knowledge and experience with Xero and QBO • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks efficiently • Ability to work independently in a remote setting • Ability to learn new software quickly • Knowledge of bookkeeping, invoicing, payables, and tax rates • Experience with Hubdoc and Dext is a plus • Internet speed of at least 6Mbps upload/download • Ability to provide client and team training; personable, patient, and leadership qualities
