📋 Description

• Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, and venue teams to understand needs and create trusted models and metrics • Set up and maintain Fivetran connectors, land data in bronze, and handle schema drift and load failures • Build dbt models through bronze, silver, and gold layers • Define and maintain the semantic layer, including metrics, dimensions, relationships, synonyms, and descriptions • Build ThoughtSpot models and Liveboards for self-service analytics • Test conversational analytics using golden question sets and regression suites • Support data governance through sensitive-data tagging, tag-based masking, and row access policies • Monitor data freshness, quality, and pipeline health • Optimize query and model performance, warehouse sizing, and Snowflake costs • Use AI agents for end-to-end data tasks while applying review and quality standards • Collaborate with analytics engineers, business partners, and the Data Platform team

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI development • Strong SQL skills • Experience building and maintaining dbt models in production • Experience with a cloud data warehouse, ideally Snowflake • Experience with ELT ingestion tools such as Fivetran • Ability to troubleshoot schema changes, late-arriving data, and API limits • Understanding of dimensional models, medallion layering, grain, slowly changing dimensions, and event lifecycles • Experience building dashboards or self-service data products • Habit of testing and documenting work • Experience using AI agents for multi-step work such as writing SQL and dbt models, generating tests, and drafting documentation • Ability to explain work clearly to technical and non-technical partners
