📋 Description

• Own the Data Products technical roadmap, canonical data modeling, and ingestion scalability • Manage and optimize the clinical data ingestion pipeline • Oversee scaling of customer data onboarding processes • Continuously improve data hygiene, canonical storage standards, and pipeline observability and monitoring • Enable shared funnel visibility across the organization • Support development of a robust enterprise reporting framework • Drive adoption of an AI-powered Software Development Life Cycle to accelerate coding, testing, and deployment while maintaining code quality and security • Lead the Data Products pillar and serve as a technical partner to the VP of Engineering and leaders in Product, Data Science, and Design • Improve clinical data coverage and freshness across patient populations • Establish standardized playbooks for rapid data readiness and multi-customer scaling • Drive adoption of the Data Products platform • Ensure data infrastructure is robust, stable, and a reliable source of truth during organizational growth and customer expansion

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience with a deep focus on building high-scale data platforms, distributed systems, and interoperability standards such as FHIR and CCDA • Proven track record managing and scaling engineering teams handling data-heavy workloads and complex clinical data pipelines • Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering teams delivering complex software in regulated environments • Experience implementing and scaling AI-assisted development workflows, such as AI code assistants, automated testing, or AI-driven SDLC • Experience building and managing engineering systems in highly regulated healthcare environments • Strong operational understanding of HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance requirements • Familiarity with complexities and lack of standardization in clinical datasets • Experience directly hiring, mentoring, and developing engineering managers, Tech Leads, and Principal Engineers • Ability to cultivate a high-performance engineering culture focused on velocity, quality, and psychological safety • Experience leading organizational change, including structural reorganizations and process evolution • Proficiency in strategic resource allocation, capacity planning, and managing technical debt • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to translate technical constraints into actionable business strategies • Passion for the healthcare sector and improving patient outcomes • Ability to navigate ambiguity and align technical priorities with strategic objectives • Action-oriented leadership and ownership of system sustainability
