📋 Description

• Exercise incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms • Perform basic malware analysis • Develop and improve processes for incident detection and execution of countermeasures • Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customer management • Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and other public speaking events • Detect and respond to incidents in real time for customers through the virtual security operations center • Investigate targeted threats and determine the extent and scope of compromise • Create customized tactical and strategic remediation plans for compromised organizations

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in incident handling, including conducting or managing incident response for organizations • Experience investigating targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists • Background using forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations • Understanding of system internals for countermeasures and remediation • Knowledge of network protocols, network analysis tools, and associated network logs • Ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis • Strong understanding of targeted attacks and customized remediation planning • Strong understanding of secure network architecture and network operations • Programming/scripting experience in C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes • Ability to complete technical tasks without supervision • Strong project management skills • Contributing thought leader within the incident response industry • Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude • Willingness to work a 4x10 schedule, including a weekend day • BA or BS / MA or MS degree in a listed technical or related field, or relevant work experience and/or training in lieu of a degree • Legal entitlement to work in Canada • Successful applicants subject to background checks
