📋 Description

• Provide analytical, project management, and operational support to the Regional Advocacy team • Focus on physician health and safety initiatives and regional advocacy priorities • Coordinate projects and support provincial and regional physician health and safety working groups • Prepare briefing materials, evaluation reports, briefing notes, summaries, recommendations, presentations, and reports • Facilitate meetings and monitor and track annual agreement funding • Develop analytical approaches, synthesize complex information, identify emerging issues, and provide strategic recommendations • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of regional and local Health Authority Engagement Survey data • Communicate analytical findings to physician groups, health authority partners, committees, and internal stakeholders • Review health authority policies, medical staff rules, and other system-level issues • Collaborate with Regional Advisors and Advocates, physicians, health authority representatives, and cross-functional teams • Respond to complex inquiries and influence stakeholders toward practical solutions that improve physician working conditions, safety, and advocacy outcomes across British Columbia

🎯 Requirements

• Completed graduate university degree and/or recognized professional designation in a specialized field, and up to six years of progressive and related experience; or equivalent related work experience in lieu of post-secondary education • Demonstrated achievement in quantitative and qualitative research and analysis • Experience managing evaluation, research, or analytical projects • Expertise in program evaluation and quality improvement • Excellent writing skills and ability to develop clear, concise, and comprehensive evaluation reports, briefing notes, and presentations for diverse audiences • Excellent computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and analytical tools and software • Strategic and tactical problem-solving ability, including converting strategic objectives into tangible action plans and results • Experience in knowledge translation and/or supporting learning organizations • Fundamental knowledge of the organization and its interrelated components within the BC healthcare system • Excellent judgment in setting priorities, proactively identifying issues, and determining required action under pressure and deadlines • Proven ability to work with diverse groups with varying interests • Superior interpersonal, oral communication, and relationship management skills • Must be willing to work remotely in a distributed work environment, travel occasionally as required, and work outside regular business hours on occasion • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or R preferred • Master’s degree in a health-related field, experience working with external consultants on analytical projects, and knowledge of the Patient Medical Home model, Primary Care Networks, and primary care are assets
