📋 Description

• Proactively manage a dedicated caseload in compliance with service level agreements and targeted turnaround times • Complete daily administrative tasks, including responding promptly to emails and telephone calls • Assess claims based on contractual, medical, and vocational barriers • Develop recovery and return-to-work strategies • Collaborate with plan sponsors, plan members, treatment providers, and internal partners • Drive cases toward successful return to work or job-resolution readiness • Write letters communicating pertinent benefit-related information using analytical reasoning • Listen and communicate with plan members using resiliency, emotional intelligence, and compassion • Deliver difficult claims-related decisions • Support plan members across Canada through illness, injury, and recovery • Work across Absence Management Consultative Services, Short-Term Disability, or Long-Term Disability claims as aligned with organizational needs

🎯 Requirements

• Fully bilingual in French and English • Ability to communicate in English and French to support clients from various jurisdictions outside Quebec • A college or university degree in a healthcare program or equivalent work experience is considered an asset • Ability to make meaningful decisions efficiently and optimally under tight deadlines • Knowledge of disability management and/or group benefits is an asset • Background in a health-related field is advantageous • Comfortable and skilled in handling incoming and outgoing calls • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills • Ability to assess medical, functional, vocational, and psychosocial factors • Ability to develop recovery and return-to-work strategies • Ability to communicate difficult claims-related decisions compassionately
