📋 Description

• Diagnose and complete less complex engine repairs at customer sites • Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and moderately complex repairs • Perform complex internal engine repairs • Perform engine overhauls unassisted • Use diagnostic tools and engine diagnostic software • Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles • Follow Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies • Support customers across multiple locations within the operating area • Assist sister operations when needed • Develop field service knowledge and skills • Maintain own tools

🎯 Requirements

• Journeyperson with red seal required • Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution • Locally valid driving permit • Basic level field service work experience • Intermediate knowledge of and/or experience with engine products • Customer service experience • 5-year motor vehicle report free from major violations and compliant with company policy • Pre-access Drug and Alcohol testing may be required for some sites • Criminal Background Check required • Apprenticeship documentation and certification required prior to hire • Ability to work a 7-on/7-off rotation with 12-hour shifts • Primary day shift availability, with occasional night shifts required • Ability to work at various mineral mine sites and support multiple operating locations • Experience performing diagnostics and repairs on Cummins and non-Cummins engines and equipment • Detailed understanding of aftertreatment systems and components • Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software • Apprentice Trained Engine Technician preferred
