📋 Description

• Build and lead strategic relationships with key influencer customers, including architects, engineers, contractors, OEMs, dealers, and channel partners • Set and execute influencer strategies targeting priority firms and cultivating new firms and individuals • Serve as technical subject matter expert on codes, standards, and solutions • Identify customer needs and market opportunities through customer insights, market trends, and competitor research • Manage opportunity flow, including identifying, reporting, tracking in Salesforce, and routing sales opportunities • Create and maintain key influencer account strategies and measure customer perception, team credibility, and influence impact • Act as industry thought leader and customer advocate by sharing market insights internally and representing the company externally • Align influence activities with sales plans, margin, and market share • Develop and execute account and territory-level sales strategies • Assess pipeline size, contents, and progress and adjust sales plans • Gather and analyze customer data to develop sales forecasts

🎯 Requirements

• University or college degree in engineering, or an acceptable combination of education and experience • Significant relevant work experience • Experience in technical sales, application engineering, or project management • 4+ years of experience in technical sales or sales application engineering desirable • Licensing may be required for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations • Ability to build relationships with Consulting Engineers in Minnesota and Wisconsin markets • Clear communication with leadership, peers, and local Power Generation Sales Representatives • Technical aptitude to quickly learn products being sold and supported • Ability to deliver technical presentations to external customers and internal sales teams • Experience with Salesforce for project and relationship management/tracking
