📋 Description

• Interact directly with patients to influence generic utilization and therapy changes • Answer patient questions, solve problems, and provide education • Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients • Conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications with the Specialty Projects Team • Conduct adherence outreach to help patients remain compliant with their therapies • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with patients, clients, and other customers • Proactively obtain patient and order information • Apply working knowledge of insurance, health care, and reimbursement requirements for dispensing • Process new referrals and provide customer education • Perform routine assessment and problem identification, escalating appropriately to a pharmacist • Resolve patients' questions on the first call while providing empathetic customer service

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ year(s) of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone • Experience multi-tasking with handling customers, retrieving information and communicating information • Must reside in the state of Pennsylvania • High School Diploma or equivalent • 6+ months experience in high-volume call center / customer service environment (preferred) • Experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or other similar applications (preferred) • Maintain own internet with approved speed requirements • Maintain a secure workspace free from distractions • Adherence to HIPAA and governmental compliance
