📋 Description

• Lead a team of front-end and backend engineers as they build API platform for CVS Health engineers • Provide technical leadership, direction, clarity, and vision • Collaborate with leaders across engineering, business, and product to build a strategy and roadmap • Set OKRs with your team and ensure the health of those with KPIs • Actively participate in the design and architecture process for new capabilities across teams • Hire and retain high performing, deeply technical engineers • Keep an eye out for new and emerging technologies that improve performance, delivery, and developer experience

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of leadership experience, directly managing individual contributors • 7+ years of experience building enterprise grade applications at scale • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript • 3+ years of experience with TypeScript and modern Node.js backend development • Experience with API gateway technologies such as Kong, Apigee, or Azure API Management • Experience with distributed workflows, asynchronous orchestration, or job-processing systems such as Temporal or similar platforms • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Highschool diploma plus 4 years relevant work experience)
