📋 Description
• Develop, define, and execute global category strategies for Key Technologies to maximize savings, on time delivery, quality and risk management • Evaluate suppliers, lead competitive events (RFIs/RFPs/auctions), negotiate agreements, drive preferred‑supplier adoption, and manage supplier performance to meet Beckman Coulters needs • Develop spend analysis, market intelligence, financial analysis, and track/report savings against annual objectives • Lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, MBA or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, Industrial Distribution Degree, Supply Chain Management or a related field • 12+ years of technical procurement/sourcing experience in Key Technologies • Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies relevant to AI/ML, advanced analytics, robotics, automation, biotechnology, data science • Demonstrated expertise in negotiations, contract management, and sourcing events such as RFI/RFP • Highly collaborative with functions as New Product Introduction, R&D, Supplier Development and Quality
