📋 Description

• Lead the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing Shopify solutions, including themes, custom applications, and API integrations • Remain actively involved in Shopify development using Liquid, Online Store 2.0, application development, integrations, and third-party APIs • Promote best practices for code quality, security, performance, documentation, and maintainability • Support and develop other developers through pair programming, code reviews, feedback, and knowledge sharing • Guide the technical vision, estimates, delivery planning, risk management, and production release readiness • Lead the adoption of AI coding agents and emerging technologies through workflows, guardrails, and quality controls • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients on decisions related to their Shopify ecosystem • Contribute to eCommerce strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives • Advise on platform capabilities, technical trade-offs, integrations, and PIM, DAM, ERP, CDP, and martech solutions • Lead or contribute to client workshops, proposals, discovery activities, and presales initiatives • Connect technical recommendations to measurable outcomes, including conversion rates, revenue, AOV, retention, and customer experience • Translate business needs into clear user stories and contribute to backlog management • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Product Owners and Project Managers • Contribute to prioritizing client needs, technical constraints, platform capabilities, and eCommerce opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience, with strong hands-on experience designing and scaling Shopify solutions or comparable eCommerce platforms • Deep expertise in Shopify, Liquid, Online Store 2.0, Shopify APIs (Admin API, Storefront API, Shopify Functions), and custom application development or integration • Experience with Shopify Plus is a significant asset • Demonstrated experience in leadership, mentoring, or supervising developers • Strong understanding of eCommerce strategy, data-driven decision-making, KPI definition, conversion optimization, customer experience, and digital roadmaps • Excellent written and spoken English is required • French proficiency is an asset • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to advise technical and business stakeholders and facilitate strategic workshops • Proficiency in Product Owner practices, including requirements gathering, user story writing, backlog management, prioritization, and Agile delivery • Practical knowledge of PIM, DAM, ERP, CDP, search and merchandising solutions, and review management platforms • Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and agentic development workflows, or a strong ability and willingness to rapidly adopt new AI tools and technologies • Excellent analytical skills, sound judgment, and a high degree of autonomy • Strong organizational and prioritization skills • Experience in an agency or consulting environment is a significant asset • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments • Experience with BigCommerce or Adobe Commerce, or with Contentful, Sanity, or Storyblok, is an asset
