📋 Description

• Build and enhance backend components of a high-volume payment orchestration system, supporting a strategic financial tech initiative • Work on mission-critical systems that ensure the reliability and stability of financial transactions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and learn through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing • Build and maintain Perl components integrated with C-based systems • Implement business logic and integration layers to connect with client, gateway, and host systems • Own feature delivery end-to-end, including coding, automated testing, and ensuring quality • Ensure system reliability, resilience, and performance stability • Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and releases • Contribute to observability and monitoring in backend systems • Participate in code reviews and team discussions on architecture, design, and implementation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features from specification to production • Learn and apply best engineering practices to solve technical problems

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5+ years of software development experience with Perl • Practical experience with Perl frameworks, libraries, and modules used in production • Experience building and maintaining mission-critical, high-throughput backend systems • Exposure to financial transaction/payment systems (authorization, settlement, reconciliation, fraud prevention) • Hands-on experience integrating Perl services with C-based systems and external APIs • Experience with legacy Perl systems or participation in modernization projects • Understanding of system integration, abstraction layers, and APIs • Experience delivering high-performance, reliable backend components • Ability to own features end-to-end, including coding, testing, quality, and performance • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and modern software development practices • Strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams • Upper-Intermediate+ English level
