📋 Description

• Provide technical and project leadership for BAS/PMS and integrated control system planning and design • Develop and maintain DLB controls, BAS, and EPMS standards and specification sections • Oversee subconsultant scopes, Statements of Objectives, construction drawings, and technical specifications • Review subconsultant deliverables for completeness, accuracy, project alignment, codes, regulations, and QA/QC compliance • Coordinate with project teams and external partners to monitor scope, quality, and delivery of design packages • Create and manage design drawings, sequences of operations, and specifications • Assist with engineering drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, including floor plans, system architecture diagrams, point-to-point wiring diagrams, and control panel diagrams • Coordinate BAS-related items with MEP trades • Identify project scope changes and help minimize cost and schedule impacts • Manage project deliverables when not serving as lead design engineer • Provide standards training, guidance, and compliance support to staff and outsource partners • Manage and review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, punch lists, and project closeout documents • Assist with construction administration activities and collaborate with engineering and project management teams • Manage onsite BAS engineering audits, feasibility studies, and retrofit surveys • Prepare and oversee project progress reports and departmental reports • Administer project contracts • Leverage AI and digital tools to improve efficiency and support consistent, high-quality work • Support adoption of emerging technologies and innovative digital workflows • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• B.A./B.S. degree in Engineering, construction, or related disciplines • Minimum of 5 years of experience in BAS controls systems engineering • Advanced knowledge of open-source protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and SNMP • Knowledge of IoT and smart building solutions • Knowledge of typical data center control redundancy strategies • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction of mission-critical or commercial buildings • Skilled in Revit and AutoCAD • Skilled in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and optimize processes • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment • Ability to identify and analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions • Ability to follow company and site safety requirements • Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence • Effective oral and written communication of technical and non-technical information • Ability to communicate directly with clients and serve as primary client contact when needed • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with moderate supervision • Ability to plan and delegate the work of others • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to remain stationary frequently, move through office/facility environments, and occasionally move equipment up to 25 pounds
