📋 Description

• Support Docker’s most important customers with high-priority technical leadership • Accelerate customers’ container and AI journeys, focusing on developer workflows • Gather customer technical and business goals and challenges • Create and manage engagement plans spanning existing products and new Docker offerings • Oversee design-partner rapid prototyping engagements with engineering and customer teams • Create, manage, and deliver custom demos and content aligned with customer use cases • Deliver enablement and best-practices content to audiences from developers to C-level stakeholders • Travel as a senior Docker representative to prospective clients, customers, and technical alliance partners • Provide thought leadership for an assigned regional or functional area • Gather field feedback from customer and pre-/post-sales teams • Coordinate with the Field CTO and Solutions Architects to prioritize field requests for product and engineering teams • Work with product and engineering teams on workflow and feature alignment based on revenue impact • Serve as customer zero for new Docker functionality • Provide input on technical enablement needs and review enablement content • Assist sales enablement with internal technical enablement for new products and services • Learn and use Salesforce, Outreach, Sigma, and Opine • Support sales and customer success teams • Educate clients about the product roadmap and conduct product training • Improve messaging, processes, and activities while operating independently

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments • Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills • Experience managing customer relationships at technical and business levels • Experience presenting solutions and demonstrations to small and large audiences, virtually and in person • Experience interfacing with technical support, product, and engineering teams • Experience developing application code • Understanding of developers’ daily challenges • Ability to solve technical problems and translate customer experience into actionable engineering feedback • Experience developing customer best-practice adoption collateral • Solid understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, DevOps, and modern application architectures • Experience with Docker, container ecosystems, or adjacent technologies strongly preferred • Development, Agentic AI development, Software Development Lifecycle, and/or Software Supply Chain Security experience strongly preferred • Must be fluent in English • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of application • Docker does not offer visa sponsorship for this role
