📋 Description

• Hire, develop, and retain the product team • Deliver customer and business results across teams • Drive ongoing product-market fit • Align teams around product vision and strategy based on customer and market opportunities • Set multi-team priorities and focus • Define team metrics to measure progress beyond ARR growth • Foster rapid learning cycles and evidence-based product development • Build a healthy ecosystem among developers, partners, customers, and online communities • Potentially serve as product spokesperson for customers, partners, press, analysts, and events • Observe customers, products, teams, and OKR-based ways of working during the first week • Assess expectations and identify opportunities to build a world-class team and business • Orient to team capabilities, product direction, and metrics during the first month • Identify adjustments to maximize return on engineering investment • Set team OKRs during the first three months • Hire world-class talent and improve the hiring process collaboratively • Adjust goals and roadmaps to improve engineering return on investment • Make system-wide product impact affecting millions of developers within the first year

🎯 Requirements

• Many years of hands-on product management experience across multiple product stages • Experience scaling products and adding products or SKUs • Product management knowledge across developer tooling, SaaS, cloud services, and/or open-source freemium models is a bonus • Experience engaging with and enabling large developer communities is a bonus • Prior experience as a coding engineer or evidence of successfully serving coding-engineering users • Familiarity with CLI tools and SDLC approaches • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first company across approximately eight time zones • Strong written communication or other methods of reinforcing information sharing • Growth mindset and ability to learn new customers, markets, and business models quickly • Experience working in a fast-growth scale-up environment with limited resources, imperfect information, changing markets, and limited structure • Docker does not offer visa sponsorship for this role • Must be legally authorized to work in the country where applying
