📋 Description

• Define the source-of-truth strategy for enterprise knowledge, including authoritative systems, indexing, AI eligibility, archiving, and exclusions • Define enterprise standards for AI-ready content across structure, metadata, provenance, and access • Design controls for AI actions, including eligibility rules, preconditions, approvals, escalation, and rollback • Lead platform and connector strategy across the content stack and partner with IT and Engineering on architecture and access • Build a federated operating model for enterprise content, including stewardship, accuracy accountability, and lifecycle policies • Define AI-context content quality and establish retrieval, grounding, workflow-trace, and policy-conformance evaluations • Co-own AI content eligibility, sensitivity classification, permissions modeling, and access boundaries with Legal, Privacy, and Security • Lead the central context-layer function connecting enterprise knowledge to safe, reliable AI use at Dropbox • Track changes in AI capabilities and translate them into practical standards and revised architectural decisions • Partner with IT, Engineering, Legal, Privacy, and Security

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years designing how information is structured, owned, and maintained at enterprise scale • At least 2 years applying enterprise information architecture to AI retrieval and grounding • Direct experience preparing content for AI consumption • Working fluency in retrieval-augmented generation, grounding, semantic chunking, embeddings, vector search, and citations • Hands-on experience with knowledge graphs, ontologies, or semantic models • Track record building federated operating models across functions outside direct reporting lines • Evidence of metadata standards or authoring frameworks adopted at scale • Ability to influence senior stakeholders across Engineering, IT, Legal, Security, and business functions • Sound judgment balancing central standards with domain expertise • Preferred: hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Atlassian, Microsoft 365 or Copilot Search, Slack, or Notion • Preferred: familiarity with structured authoring such as DITA, controlled vocabularies, or KCS • Preferred: experience with AI evaluation tooling and frameworks • Preferred: background in regulated, policy-heavy, or high-risk content domains • Preferred: working knowledge of NIST AI RMF, OWASP GenAI guidance, or comparable risk frameworks
