📋 Description

• Work on retail marketing and POS design projects for major clients and support special projects across the Speciality team • Report to and support the Design team lead and Head of Creative and Innovation • Create and deliver original concepts for retail marketing, displays, and Point of Sale (POS), aligned with brand and retailer guidelines • Apply knowledge of consumer shopping and buying habits to new business tenders, marketing, agency days, and daily concepts • Review and manage project briefs, teamwork, budgets, and timelines • Support brainstorms and new business pitches • Support the wider SMI Speciality Cluster on innovation days and creative design • Communicate with clients and internal teams • Monitor industry trends to keep creative work fresh • Deliver client-briefed work on time and to a high standard • Challenge briefs and provide creative and strategic ideas • Drive creative studio efficiencies

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience in Point of Sale (POS) and display design for FMCG and blue-chip organisations • Experience with 3D and 2D packages • Fluent in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop • Skills in animation, web, or digital design would be an advantage • Excellent eye for detail, layout, typography, and application of imagery • Experience working with brand and retailer guidelines and translating supplied assets into new ideas and concepts • Understanding of print production processes and material feasibility • Collaborative and strong communicator with team members and clients • Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Enthusiastic, positive, can-do attitude and enjoyment of spontaneous team engagement • CV and portfolio link showcasing examples of work • Ability to travel to alternative DS Smith Speciality sites, subcontractor, client, or third-party sites when necessary
