📋 Description

• Provide operational and analytical support for DHA UBO revenue cycle initiatives • Review and analyze revenue cycle processes across front-end, mid-cycle, and backend operations • Support Charge Description Master (CDM) review, maintenance, validation, and optimization activities • Review charge capture processes to identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent charges • Apply knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, coding guidelines, and reimbursement requirements • Assist with coding, billing, and revenue integrity reviews and audits • Analyze claims, charges, denials, payments, and other revenue-cycle data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement • Research coding, reimbursement, payer, and billing requirements and communicate findings to the project team • Support identification and resolution of coding, billing, charge capture, and reimbursement discrepancies • Assist with development and monitoring of revenue-cycle performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) • Support data validation and quality-assurance activities • Develop reports, trackers, presentations, process documentation, and standard operating procedures • Document findings and provide recommendations to project leadership and client stakeholders • Participate in UBO meetings, working groups, audits, and process-improvement initiatives • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support UBO objectives and contract deliverables

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, medical coding, billing, revenue integrity, reimbursement, or related healthcare operations • Current professional coding certification, such as CPC, CCS, CCS-P, COC, CIC, or equivalent nationally recognized certification • Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, and healthcare coding guidelines • Understanding of hospital and/or professional billing and reimbursement processes • Experience reviewing and analyzing healthcare revenue-cycle data • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills • Ability to identify discrepancies and clearly document findings and recommendations • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines • Ability to obtain and maintain required DHA/DoD system and security access • Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
