📋 Description

• Guide, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of accounting specialists, CPAs, and finance professionals • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to inform executive decision-making • Present actionable insights to senior leadership • Oversee post-acquisition financial integration, including intangible asset valuation, purchase accounting, and IFRS compliance • Ensure accurate, timely monthly/quarterly financial statements and KPIs for assigned business units • Spearhead system implementations and streamline accounting workflows • Support annual audits under IFRS guidelines • Advise on complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition (IFRS 15) and multi-element contract analysis • Collaborate cross-functionally to support acquisitions and strengthen the organization's financial health • Report to the SVP of Finance & Accounting

🎯 Requirements

• CPA designation or internationally recognized accounting certification (e.g., CA, ACCA) • 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years as a controller • Proven ability to mentor teams and collaborate across departments in matrix environments • Expertise in ERP systems such as NetSuite • Background in SaaS/tech industry accounting or top-tier public accounting firms • Hands-on experience with mergers, acquisitions, or corporate restructuring • Advanced knowledge of IFRS, particularly revenue recognition standards for software businesses
