• Provide expert-level technical support to customers, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of complex battery equipment and power systems • Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate technical issues, utilizing your in-depth knowledge and advanced diagnostic tools • Perform preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and performance optimization to ensure maximum uptime and reliability • Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventative measures to avoid costly downtime • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing timely, efficient, and professional service • Effectively communicate technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance and recommendations on best practices for equipment operation, maintenance, and safety • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000 standards • Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance their skills and development
• Technical degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, electronics technology) • 3+ years of proven experience as a Field Service Technician, demonstrating progressive responsibility and technical expertise in the battery and power systems industry • In-depth knowledge of battery technologies, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, and related systems • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including the ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals • Proficiency in using specialized tools and test equipment • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
