Euclid Power is a company that develops software to optimize, orchestrate and aggregate distributed energy resources (DERs) — for example batteries, behind-the-meter assets, and demand flexibility — so commercial and industrial sites can participate in grid services, reduce energy costs, and provide grid balancing. The company provides a platform and controls that connect DERs to markets and utilities, enabling automated energy optimization and monetization of flexibility.

📋 Description

• Perform solar resource and energy yield assessments for utility-scale and distributed PV projects. • Conduct pre-construction and operational energy yield analyses, including: • Compilation, validation, and analysis of meteorological, satellite-derived, and operational datasets. • Solar resource assessments, including development of Typical Meteorological Year (TMY) datasets from long-term meteorological and satellite-derived datasets. • Measure-Correlate-Predict (MCP) analyses and long-term resource adjustments. • Evaluation of project risks, constraints, and performance drivers. • Estimation of plant losses, • Uncertainty analyses, • Development of bankable energy yield estimates using PVsyst and other industry-standard tools. • Operational performance assessments and regression-based energy analyses. • Take ownership of portions of the company’s solar resource and energy yield assessment methodologies and contribute to their ongoing development and improvement. • Present and explain energy assessment methodologies, assumptions, results, and uncertainties to clients and investors. • Manage and lead client engagements, including technical execution and client communications. • Perform technical reviews and quality control of analyses and reports to ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices. • Work closely with colleagues across due diligence, engineering, and project development teams to deliver high-quality work products. • Support business development through proposal writing, client meetings, conference participation, and technical presentations. • Stay current with industry developments and emerging practices related to solar resource assessment and energy yield analysis.
