📋 Description

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment • Answer high-volume inbound calls from current patients and resolve questions • Place outbound calls to create, maintain or update medication profiles • Assist patients with questions over the phone • Work through case queues to resolve patient care issues • Serve as liaison between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals • Perform claim adjudication and auditing, including prior authorizations, billing and eligibility checks • Collect patient balances • Maintain confidential patient records • Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications and transfers • Retrieve and verify prescription information through doctor calls • Process high volumes of prescription data accurately • Place welcome calls to newly onboarded patients • Partner with technicians and pharmacists to onboard new patients • Support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base • Embody AnewHealth’s Core Values • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma / GED • Current certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) • Current pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy • Must be 18+ years of age • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting • Comfortable working in a phone-based environment • Ability to work independently • Exceptional customer service skills • Thorough drug knowledge • Pharmacy billing knowledge • Knowledge of prescription processes, clarifications and transfers • Ability to use computer equipment, technology and multiple software programs • Strong prioritization and organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to overcome objections • Ability to think critically and document details compliantly with state and federal regulations • Ability to work an average of 40 hours per week and outside normal business hours as needed • Must be eligible to work in this country
