📋 Description

• Plan, organize, and direct the efforts of the sales team • Develop new vendor/manufacturer relationships within the agriculture and manufacturing industries • Maintain existing relationships to generate new sales production • Delegate tasks to support supervisory responsibilities and team performance • Lead team meetings and represent the team in division-wide and organizational discussions • Lead planning, goal-setting initiatives, and departmental administration • Maintain expertise in equipment financing and leasing and monitor industry trends • Represent Stearns Bank and its products while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements • Train, orient, develop, lead, and mentor department personnel • Direct and coordinate team activities and support relationships with referral sources • Communicate and engage with vendors, manufacturers, and dealers via phone, email, and occasional site visits • Cultivate vendor and prospect relationships through networking, referrals, and new sales opportunities • Promote and handle customized payment terms and programs • Prepare and deliver presentations and attend and follow up on trade shows and conferences • Set up and administer new lease/sales contracts, including application entry and legal documentation • Supervise customer transactions and perform portfolio management tasks, including risk assessments and collections • Calculate payment options using T-Value and HP calculators • Document activities and track progress in SalesForce, T-Value, and Aspire • Identify customer needs and cross-sell Stearns Bank products • Negotiate credit decisions, terms, and payment structures • Establish and achieve monthly and annual funding and approval goals with leadership • Contribute to loss prevention and security tasks • Participate in training and assigned work • Travel lightly as needed, including occasional overnight stays

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred; commensurate experience considered • 3–5 years of sales management experience in the equipment finance space • Experience managing and developing teams and valuable programs • Strong oral communication skills • Excellent customer relation skills • Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Suite • Salesforce experience is a plus • Literacy in English • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform required reaching, bending, walking, handling, and other physical activities • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment • Ability to travel lightly as needed, including occasional overnight stays
