📋 Description

• Lead Advanced Planning as an estate planning expert • Support Fidelity’s high net worth clients and their advisors • Provide comprehensive financial and estate planning support as part of a regionally aligned Advanced Planning team • Support the Vice President, Advanced Planning Market Lead • Provide advisor training • Support regional business development and thought leadership • Meet virtually with clients and advisors across the region using video technology • Collaborate with the Advanced Planning team virtually and in person • Travel typically 5% to 20% of the time depending on proximity to regional sites and investor centers • Deliver comprehensive financial planning tailored to clients’ financial goals and family dynamics

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • 10-12 years overall work experience • 4 years of trusts and estate planning, income tax planning or succession planning work experience within a public accounting, law practice, or wealth management industry environment • FINRA Series 7 and 66 acquired within 90-days of employment • Estate Planning, family wealth transfer planning, wills/trusts, income taxation, and trust and estate taxation knowledge required • Retirement, financial, investment, and insurance planning preferred • CPA, JD, M.T., or LLM in taxation preferred • Effective at providing and receiving coaching and mentorship • Thrives in a team environment • Communicates complex subjects clearly and effectively • Proven emotional intelligence to effectively bond with and communicate with clients and their advisors • Solution-oriented, client-first work ethic • Ability to work independently, balance competing tasks, and prioritize work • Positive professional demeanor • Must reside within commuting distance to an Investor Center or Regional Center in California, Nevada, or Utah • Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position
