📋 Description

• Drive culture change and talent transformation • Partner directly with C-level leaders, owning everything HR/People for Engineering & Product teams end-to-end • Coach managers through tough conversations, calibrations, and high-stakes people decisions • Solve wide range of problems with an outcome-over-output mindset • Guide org. design, workforce planning, and leadership transitions • Balance high-performance culture standards with strong engagement and retention • Pave the way for Engineering culture transformation and set new ways of working within Engineering teams (Year One) • Unlock better collaboration between Product & Engineering by facilitating domain-driven talent management initiatives (Year One) • Define and implement a clear talent & location strategy and meet ambitious hiring plans in collaboration with Head of Talent (Year One) • Enable retention of high-performing talent by executing a structured talent/people cycle (performance, reward, engagement) (Year One) • Act as a strategic business partner translating people initiatives into clear commercial outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years overall HR experience, with 3–4 years people partnering with Engineering & Product Leadership (C level, and their -1s) • Track record of driving culture change initiatives in a product-led environment • Experience in raising performance standards in high-growth, culturally diverse organizations (ideally fintech/tech) • Strong knowledge of European employment frameworks and cultural nuances • Product-minded problem solver: nimble, commercially aware, and focused on outcomes over process • Exceptional communicator & coach, confident in building trust with senior stakeholders and holding your ground on tough calls • Bonus Points: Hands-on curiosity about AI and automation (e.g. Slack workflows, Notion AI, Lovable or similar tools) • Experience working with Eastern European teams
