📋 Description

• Design, build, and scale backend services and APIs powering payments, money movement, billing, settlements, reconciliation, and ledger systems • Drive initiatives end-to-end from requirements gathering and technical design through implementation, rollout, and operational excellence • Partner with Product, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and engineering teams • Build systems integrating with payment processors, banking partners, card networks, and financial service providers • Design resilient payment, ledger, settlement, and reconciliation workflows ensuring financial accuracy • Operate mission-critical financial services in production with uptime, security, compliance, and performance requirements • Evolve service-oriented architecture, event-driven systems, APIs, message queues, and scalable financial platforms

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on Java backend development • Experience with Spring Core/Web/Boot, Gradle, JUnit, JVM tuning, and performance • Strong computer science fundamentals and experience designing scalable distributed systems • Experience integrating with payment processors, settlements, card networks, and banking partners • Understanding of transactional systems, financial data consistency, idempotency, auditability, and fault tolerance • Ability to write high-quality, testable, maintainable, and secure code • Hands-on experience with AWS, including EKS, Aurora RDS, ElastiCache, and DynamoDB • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and build automation • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog • Excellent communication and collaboration in globally distributed teams
