📋 Description

• Work closely with an Inside Channel Sales Representative in a defined territory • Support the sales organization in technical matters involving pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales • Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint • Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls • Answer and educate customers and partners on features, specifications, functionality, and integration • Act as the lead technical contact for identified accounts’ technical issues • Collaborate with technical support and engineering to answer, escalate, and resolve customer technical issues • Provide post-sales training to identified customers

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years’ experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer • 3 years’ experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration • Solid understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP • Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and antivirus technologies • Understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES • Experience with encryption and authentication technologies • Excellent presentation skills • Required to customarily and regularly work outside the office or home office, including travel as needed to make a sale • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Graduate degree favorable
