📋 Description

• Board Directors guide strategy and share responsibility for the Alliance's governance and financial health • Board Directors attend three meetings each year and serve on at least one standing committee • Board Directors carry the legal duties of care, loyalty, and obedience to mission • Board Directors disclose potential conflicts of interest annually • Board Directors uphold Fòs Feminista’s safeguarding policy • Standing committee members support the Board’s work through six standing committees: Advocacy; Audit and Risk Intelligence; Finance and Investment; Governance; Partnerships and Performance; and Resource Mobilization • Board term is three years, renewable for up to two additional consecutive terms • Governance Committee contacts shortlisted candidates and arranges interviews in late October and early November

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in financial leadership, gender-lens investing, innovative financing, or women's economic empowerment • Experience in strategic communications and external relations • Deep roots in civil society networks, feminist organizations, or social movements, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean and across the Global South • Board or senior leadership experience, particularly in Global South organizations • Commitment to SRHRJ and the ability to communicate about this work • Understanding of the changing political, economic, and global public health landscape • Strong communication skills and ability to work across cultures and institutional contexts • Ability to connect Fòs Feminista with new partners, funders, and other social justice movements • Youth leadership candidates should be under 25 at the time of election and have substantive experience in youth-led movements, digital advocacy/participation, and community or health organizing • Curriculum Vitae and one-page cover letter required • Applications accepted in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese
