📋 Description

• Lead process mechanical designs and deliverables from concept through construction • Perform engineering calculations, system evaluations, equipment sizing, and technical analyses • Develop equipment specifications, P&IDs, equipment lists, line lists, POC lists, operational specifications, and installation scope documents • Collaborate with designers to translate engineering concepts into coordinated drawings • Coordinate with project disciplines, clients, vendors, and suppliers • Prepare and present technical reviews to clients • Estimate engineering hours, schedules, and deliverables for proposals and project planning • Provide technical leadership through QA/QC reviews, oversight, coaching, and mentorship • Support construction, commissioning, checkout, and startup through onsite and remote engagement • Lead process mechanical discipline execution and coordinate project team members to meet quality, schedule, and client expectations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience • 10+ years of process engineering experience in industrial manufacturing, consulting, or EPC environments • Experience developing process engineering deliverables from concept through construction • Experience specifying and implementing industrial process equipment and piping systems • Ability to travel as needed, averaging up to 25% annually • Experience developing engineered packages, including scopes of work, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and mechanical equipment arrangements • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure • Prior experience in a consulting engineering or EPC environment • Hands-on experience using 3D tools such as Navisworks, Plant 3D, virtual reality (VR), and 3D scanning technologies • Experience supporting projects in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)-regulated environments • Knowledge of sanitary design standards and practices • Experience developing or implementing Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems
