📋 Description

• Oversee a complex, multi-stream program end-to-end with an external client • Set program controls and track milestones across projects • Proactively manage program-level risks and issues • Establish technical, architectural, and delivery governance • Lead stakeholder engagement from C-suite stakeholders to delivery teams and clients • Ensure benefits realization by aligning deliverables with planned outcomes and quality standards • Own the program roadmap, controls, cadence, KPIs/OKRs, and standardized reporting/compliance • Align project managers, vendors, and client teams across workstreams, schedules, resources, and interdependencies • Manage people, budgets, technology resources, program ROI, and outcomes • Maintain centralized risk registers and contingency plans • Deliver clear executive-ready updates • Tailor communications for executives and delivery teams • Run change control and keep teams aligned and engaged • Standardize and enforce processes and templates • Lead complex programs from design through execution using process engineering and continuous improvement • Resolve scope changes, delays, resource conflicts, and stakeholder disputes

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of program management experience • Experience overseeing multi-stream projects with globally distributed teams, teams of more than 50 members, and multiple project managers • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field • PMP certification • Master’s degree and relevant certifications preferred • Ability to build WBS/dependency maps and standardize processes • Experience maintaining program charters, risk logs, and other documentation • Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, SharePoint, Excel, and a PPM tool such as Mavenlink/Kantata • Ability to build dashboards and status reports • Experience aligning roadmaps with contract/business goals and driving benefits realization • Experience with proactive RAID management, PMI-style risk frameworks, and contingencies • Executive-ready communication, RACI, conflict resolution, and high-EQ leadership across distributed teams • Experience managing program budgets, expenditures, cost adjustments, and complex financial models involving Fixed Price, T&M, milestone-based payments, revenue recognition, fixed monthly fees, and expense recovery • Experience owning budgets and resource plans and leading change control • Strong attention to detail • Familiarity with application modernization preferred; IBM i modernization exposure a plus • Experience with hybrid Agile-Waterfall methodologies in large-scale programs • Proficiency in creating governance frameworks, including steering committees or compliance processes • Strong negotiation skills • Experience with C-Suite stakeholders • Ability to navigate unexpected challenges with creative, structured solutions • Ability to develop and apply process engineering and continuous-improvement practices
