📋 Description

• Develop software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation to ensure standard use of procedures • Provide input for documentation of new or existing programs to ensure information accessibility, as required • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and analyze software programs • Customize software based on research and customer needs as appropriate • Coordinate and facilitate communications with other departments and/or commercial vendors to investigate and resolve significant software matters and ensure proper system functioning • Attend meetings and maintain communication with management and customers regarding software development status and problems • Become a knowledgeable technical lead on large projects involving particular software packages • Provide first-level on-call support to the customer base • Provide on-call support to help resolve production issues

🎯 Requirements

• 6 or more years of Software Engineering or Operating Systems Programming experience with Unix, C, Scripts, SQL, and web servers • Design and coding experience • COBOL and Mainframe knowledge is a plus • Use of Git and Github.com is a plus • Experience with source code debuggers • Solid in writing SQL queries/Data Analysis skills for troubleshooting and validation • Comfortable supporting production issues, defect analysis, data investigation, and end-to-end testing • On-call support is required • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required
