• Remote position with frequent international travel to target regions (Latin America, Caribbean, South America, West Africa). • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand operations across Latin America, the Caribbean, South America, and West Africa. • Identify and secure opportunities in trailing suction hopper dredging (capital dredging, maintenance dredging, beach nourishment, and reclamation). • Lead full tendering processes, including bid preparation, technical-commercial proposals, and contract negotiations. • Establish and strengthen relationships with government agencies, port operators, oil & gas majors, and international contractors. • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, technical, finance, QHSE) to deliver tailored, client-focused solutions. • Represent the company at international trade shows, industry conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility. • Manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and reporting to senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Marine Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline (MBA an asset). • At least 5 years’ experience in business development within dredging, marine construction, or port services. • Proven track record of securing contracts for TSHD, CSD, or large-scale maritime infrastructure projects. • Knowledge of dredging methods and equipment, with strong expertise in trailing suction hopper dredging. • Familiarity with international contracting standards (e.g., FIDIC) is desirable. • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and communication skills. • Fluent in English; additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French) highly advantageous. • Flexibility to travel extensively across target regions.
