📋 Description

• Direct and coordinate daily IT service delivery across infrastructure, cloud services, enterprise applications, identity management, and end-user support • Establish operational priorities, resource allocations, and service delivery expectations • Lead operational reviews and status meetings while monitoring project and program performance • Ensure operational activities align with strategic goals and mission requirements • Serve as escalation point for operational issues, outages, and service disruptions • Lead Microsoft Azure and cloud modernization initiatives • Oversee cloud infrastructure deployments, networking, platform services, storage, databases, and identity services • Coordinate environment provisioning, production releases, and operational readiness reviews • Ensure solutions comply with federal security and architecture requirements • Support operational management of ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, and custom mission support applications • Review application onboarding requests and operational impacts • Coordinate application lifecycle management and production support activities • Support governance decisions regarding application hosting and enterprise integration strategies • Lead Change Advisory Board activities and operational governance processes • Review technical change requests for risk, compliance, operational impact, and implementation readiness • Coordinate stakeholders, technical teams, and agency leadership during change planning and execution • Ensure accurate documentation, implementation plans, testing procedures, and rollback strategies • Promote successful change adoption across the organization • Partner with cybersecurity teams to maintain a secure and compliant operating environment • Support Security Impact Assessments, Authority to Operate activities, and audit responses • Evaluate operational risks associated with new applications, integrations, and cloud services • Ensure compliance with federal security requirements, FISMA controls, and agency governance policies • Participate in incident response and security remediation activities • Support technology platforms enabling client programs and mission operations • Coordinate IT services supporting disaster services initiatives and emergency response capabilities • Ensure operational readiness of systems supporting program delivery and field activities • Collaborate with program offices to align technology investments with agency priorities • Manage and mentor technical staff, contractors, and service providers • Coordinate work across engineering, operations, cybersecurity, networking, and application support teams • Support workforce planning, onboarding, performance management, and training initiatives • Foster collaboration and accountability among cross-functional teams • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and process improvement • Lead modernization initiatives involving cloud adoption, security enhancement, and service transformation • Provide recommendations to leadership on technology investments and operational improvements • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices for agency adoption

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field • 8+ years of progressive IT experience • 3+ years in operational leadership, management, or supervisory roles • Experience supporting federal government information systems • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Azure • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft 365 • Demonstrated expertise with Identity and Access Management • Demonstrated expertise with ServiceNow • Demonstrated expertise with cloud operations • Demonstrated expertise with enterprise application support • Demonstrated expertise with change management • Experience leading cross-functional operational teams • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience supporting federal civilian agencies preferred • Experience managing Azure cloud environments and DevOps pipelines preferred • Knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements preferred • Experience supporting Disaster Services, Grants Management, Volunteer Programs, or Mission Support systems preferred • ITIL, PMP, Microsoft Azure, CISSP, or related certifications preferred • Public Trust/Other Required: BI Full 6C (T4) • US citizenship is not required
