📋 Description

• Conduct requirements gathering and discovery with stakeholders • Translate business questions into clear, testable analytical and reporting requirements • Validate data and reporting outputs for accuracy, completeness, and logical consistency before production dashboards • Conduct data and metric analysis in support of discovery • Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents, technical documentation, and other resources • Write user stories with detailed acceptance criteria for data architecture, data/analytics engineering, and BI report development teams • Flag discrepancies between source data, transformed data, and reported values • Assist in vetting incoming requests against intake criteria • Authorize and maintain business requirements documents and technical and process documentation • Collaborate in scrum ceremonies and communicate across audiences • Work closely with the data and Business Intelligence Product Owner, data engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders • Comply with HIPAA and all other state and federal information security regulations • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 1-2 years of progressive experience in a business analysis, data analysis, or reporting-adjacent role required • Working knowledge of HIPAA is preferred • Excellent presentation and written communication skills • Ability to analyze data and requirements critically, think quickly, and resolve conflicting needs • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused amid competing ad hoc requests • High level of task management and organizational skills • Proficient using a computer, business phone, office software, video conferencing, and other computer programs • Proficiency with Google Workplace, including Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, and Google Suite applications • Intermediate knowledge of macOS and/or Windows operating systems • Comfortable working with SQL required • Familiarity with a modern BI/data stack, including Snowflake and dbt • Experience with Tableau or equivalent BI reporting tool • Experience with software and project management tools including Jira, Asana, or equivalent • Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation • Ability to sit for at least one hour at a time, totaling 6-8 hours per day • Ability to keyboard for extended periods, totaling 4-6 hours per day • Ability to use a phone with or without a headset for extended periods, totaling 2-4 hours per day • Travel may be required for up to 10% of working hours
