• Develop and ensure compliance with the HSE plan (health, safety and environment) • Manage project scope by planning, organizing and supervising the field team • Work closely with the project planner/scheduler to develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules • Manage actual and forecasted costs • Work with a cross-functional project team and understand all deliverables that could affect field execution • Prepare the project site before crew mobilization (e.g., infrastructure, tooling, etc.) • Actively participate in design processes, the development of new lessons learned, and feedback/continuous improvement processes • Manage site documentation (quality, HSE, daily reports, timekeeping, expense reports, etc.) • Actively participate in defining special tooling requirements with the Methods and Tooling team • Promote margin-improvement opportunities, cost-optimization initiatives, and scope-extension opportunities • Contribute to the training program as required
• University degree (B.Sc. or B.Eng.) in a technical or management discipline (or equivalent experience) • Experience in site management • Experience in power generation • Experience in cost control • Familiarity with technical concepts (including hydroelectric machinery, turbines, generators/alternators, etc.) • Excellent leadership skills
