📋 Description

• Manage the risk profile of all commercial deals within the GE Vernova Hydropower Business • Ensure tenders are underwritten according to GE Vernova standards and comply with GE Vernova and GE Vernova Hydro risk management processes and policies • Partner with commercial leaders and functional experts to identify, characterize, analyze, and mitigate tender risks • Validate the risk–reward balance for each tender, including terms and conditions, technical requirements, financing, and schedule • Manage the Hydropower risk process and ensure compliance with GE Vernova policies and Hydropower underwriting strategies • Lead Risk Review Gates in the ITO process (R2, HRB, R3, etc.) • Leverage project execution feedback and best practices from other businesses to improve risk control at the tender stage • Report to the Hydro Global Commercial and Strategy Leader

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience • Experience managing complex EPC projects and/or in risk management • High degree of autonomy in organizing risk activities in collaboration with the other Risk Manager • Strong critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyze and summarize complex and diverse issues • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively at the executive level • Proven interpersonal and leadership capabilities in a global, multicultural environment • A background in engineering, contract management, finance, or project management is a strong advantage
