📋 Description

• Manage the risk profile of all commercial deals within GE Vernova’s Hydropower business • Ensure tenders are underwritten in accordance with GE Vernova standards • Ensure compliance with GE Vernova and GE Vernova Hydro risk management processes and policies • Collaborate with commercial leaders and functional experts to identify, characterize, and mitigate the risks associated with each tender • Remain closely connected to project execution to gather lessons learned and improve risk analyses during the bidding phase • Validate the risk–reward balance of each tender • Manage the Hydropower risk process and ensure compliance with GE Vernova policies and Hydropower underwriting strategies • Lead the Risk Review gates of the ITO process (R2, HRB, R3) • Leverage project execution feedback and best practices to maintain high risk-control standards at the tender stage • Report to the Hydro Global Commercial and Strategy Leader

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience • Experience managing complex EPC projects and/or in risk management • High level of autonomy in organizing risk activities in collaboration with the other Risk Manager • Strong critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyze and synthesize complex and diverse issues • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively at the executive level • Proven interpersonal and leadership capabilities in a global, multicultural environment • A background in engineering, contract management, finance, or project management is a strong advantage
